Question:

I would like to ask if someone is wearing contact lenses, and that person performs wudu, then is that allowed or incomplete such as in the circumstances when wearing make up?

Answer:

The Wudhu will be valid when wearing contact lenses as it is not Fardh to wash the inside of your eyes. There are four Faraidh in Wudhu:

1) To wash the face.

2) To wash the hands including the elbows.

3) To do the Masah of a quarter of the head.

4) To wash the feet till the ankles.

If the makeup prevents the water from reaching the actual skin then the Wudhu will be incomplete.
