Up to what time can you pray tahajjud namaaz?

Question:

Up to what time can you pray tahajjud namaaz?

Answer:

Tahajjud prayer is performed after Isha and before Fajr. However, a person must sleep first and then perform Tahajjud. If he performed Isha, stayed awake and then hours later read Tahajjud, then this will not count as Tahajjud.
