Question:

The answer my wife and I require is that do women have to make up their salahs for
a) their monthly periods and

b) while they are pregnant pre and post.

Answer:

By the Mercy of Almighty Allah, women are not required to make up any of the Salah that they have missed during their monthly period (haiz) nor during the time they bleed after giving birth (nifaas). Generally, women do not bleed whilst they are pregnant, and any bleeding they do have would be considered istihaaza and would not be considered a period or post-natal bleeding, hence it is required for them to pray all their Salah during pregnancy.
