Eid Milad-un-Nabi Itakaaf
The Islamic Centre is proud to present as part of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, a special overnight Itakaaf.

Itakaaf is a period of reflection, meditation and education; an opportunity to shut out the world and focus on our religion. For this reason the Islamic Centre has chosen this format as a tool for educating our young.
The itakaaf will be 24 hours of spiritual education free from worldly distractions. The participants will enjoy lectures, seminars, competitions, practical exercises and workshops on a wide range of topics.
Every participant will receive an Itakaaf pack containing educational material to work from and take home as well as a certificate of achievement.
Small group workshops ensure that the participants gain maximum benefit from interacting with our trained group leaders.
Subject areas will include:
- The birth of the Prophet
- The life and teachings of the Prophet
- Importance of Salah
- Importance of education
- The role of the Mosque in a Muslims life
- Being a good Muslim
